Random Green Stuff

Jenny got me this handy bag in a pouch thing which has been helping me in my efforts to reduce plastic bag use. I mean well, but I am a total ditz and walk into the store without my bags every time. This bag is already in my bag, so now I only have to remember that I have it in my bag already. So far, so good. Thanks Jenn!

 

This is Charlie cutting the six pack rings, which is a very 1990s environmentalist thing to do, that we are still doing. The idea behind it is that birds won't get entangled in the rings if it ever gets out to sea. Though now that we know more about plastic at sea, we should just ban it entirely.

 

This is a cool discovery about Lundbergs Organic Brown Rice. I didn't even know there was a renewable energy certification out there!
